Kingdom of Orrville JLG Industries Fall Party
At their annual family fall event, JLG Industries transformed their facilities into a kingdom where children, parents, and family members could break out the Halloween costumes and meet princes and princesses! After entering the shipping area of the warehouse, guests were surprised with a balloon arch in fall colors flanked by two cardboard standup corn stalks. As they walked in, many were greeted by JLG employees dressed to impress in medieval costumes to match the theme, like the prince and princess and the guards at the entrance pictured below.
To keep families entertained, the warehouse was filled with gigantic blowups, including an obstacle course and bounce castle. Our balloon artist created fun Halloween themed balloon creatures for a group of amazed kids. He was busy all morning and afternoon!
This kid friendly event made sure to keep the smallest guests busy with a series of craft stations, featuring a pumpkin patch where they picked and decorated their own pumpkins, a fall themed necklace making station, and a cookie decorating station with bowls of sprinkles and colored icing.
Adults and employees thought the green screen was a blast. With props and varying medieval themed backgrounds, some families and friends went through the line a few times and received a photo to remember the day by. JLG also showed off their facilities with a trick-or-treat tour. At each “stop” along the warehouse tour, kids picked up treats and toys, stuffing them in Halloween tote bags passed out at the entrance.
To cap off the day, guests were invited to share lunch in the cafeteria. The entrance to the buffet was decorated with a suit of armor and a jumbo castle standup. Guests were greeted with a fall themed buffet, and each table was decorated with confetti and table cloths in fall colors as well as trifold centerpieces with the adult and kid’s buffet menu.
As employees and their families left, they were encouraged to pose with “Kingdom of Orrville” cardboard standups as well as visit the “Knights and Swordsmen” and “Queens and Princesses” rooms (aka the bathrooms!). All in all, this party was the “moat” fun!
